Paris Child Care opened on August 17th, 1987 in the established Grand River St. North Victorian house. As Paris grew, so did the demand for quality child care and in 1995 an opportunity arose to expand the program. With much work and dedication from the management, staff and Board of Directors, the Holy Family Child Care Centre developed to meet this increasing need. Today, these programs continue to grow and in 2005 the off-site School Age Programs were initiated to help ensure a safe and happy environment for children before and after school. On March 2nd, 2009 Sacred Heart Child Care opened its doors to embark on another adventure for Paris Child Care.
What We Provide
Our inclusive child care centres provide a warm and loving atmosphere and focus on the child's total growth and development. Professionally trained and sensitive staff ensure the program reflects the individual development of each child and encourages exploration in a safe and accepting environment. Our goal is for each child to learn to play and grow with equal opportunity and to develop open attitudes to our diverse community. Children are provided with the opportunity to stimulate self-esteem and problem-solving abilities; interaction with and respect for others; and physical activity that develops gross motor skills, fine motor skills, curiosity, initiative and independence. Programs are re-evaluated often to reflect the changing needs of children.
We strive to be a leader in the provision of quality child care programs, delivered by professional and caring staff to the families of Paris and the surrounding communities
